MU Origin Gameplay Update 1.4.0

We are about to release our new version 1.4.0 version in next week, the exact time is pending.  

Tips: 

1. After we release new version, all players of old version will be redirected to the iTunes/Google Play stores to update to the new version when opening the game. (Update is necessary, old client will not be available any more.) 

2. If anyone use the apk file to install and login our game, and you can’t get our game in the Google Play store, visit the link in this blog for the updates: Official Download Links

Note: This download link is for Southeast Asian counties where MU Origin is not available for download on Google Play or Apple Store

MU Origin is not downloadable in some countries, that is why SiamGames is finding ways to address this issue for Southeast Asia. MU Origin Guide: Take Advantage of the Recharges



The first rebate is a one-time payment in the game where you could just spend a few cents to purchase 18 diamonds and get your recharge reward. 

It won't actually hurt your pockets, just spend a few cents with your mobile load, purchase a small amount of diamonds and then get your reward. The rewards are tempting to be honest, you get a high-graded weapon plus luck that you can strengthen, append and nurture. This will help you increase your Battle Points and obtain a Ranking Seal.

Recharge rewards
If you get addicted by the recharge and can actually afford to spend cash in-game, you can take advantage of these diamond recharges to obtain awesome rewards.


VIP Levels and corresponding rewards
Along with that reward, you can spend your diamonds to recharge for the VIP Status. There are lots of benefits when you become VIP, every VIP level means more benefits, more recharges, and more rewards. MU Origin diamonds are actually affordable, you can choose to just be casual or enjoy the benefits of the VIP Status. 

All of the high-ranking players in the game are actually VIP. To match someone with same level and BP as yours, the best way to exceed is to purchase recharges and get ahead of players with same level and ranks as yours. If you're serious with the game and want to climb up, this is the best way to go. But you can reach high ranks by just being a non-VIP, but it will take a huge amount of time and is actually a disadvantage most of the time.

MU Origin Guide: Battle Points Farming

My Magician with a 76,752 Battle Point, but to be honest, it's quite small for my level, it was before I realized the ways.
Battle Points is one of the most important points in the MU Origin game, aside from lifting your character up to the ranking system, higher Battle Points (BP) correlates to a very strong character.

These are the factors that help increase Battle Points: 
  • Character Level
  • Attributes (each level up increases your BP by 10 to 15 because of stats upgrade)
  • Equipment Grade, Level, Strengthen, Nurture and Appends
  • Military Rank
  • Achievement Title
  • VIP Buffs
  • Wings grade
It will not be easy to farm for Battle Points, but doing stuff in-game can increase your Battle Points without you noticing it. Most of the things you do in the game like farming for items, killing bosses, doing dungeons, leveling up, questing, upgrading your items, farming for crystals to purchase Talisman can relatively increase your Battle Points.

Focus more on killing bosses than doing PK, and for equipment, make sure to focus more on weapons than defensive equipment (like Armors). Weapons give more BP than defensive equipment. It is important to farm Crystals to increase Talisman grade and do all important stuff in the game daily that will help you loot more items, upgrade your wings, rank, and title to help achieve the highest BP as possible.

Spending too much time on the game does not help you increase your Battle Points, you can just spend 1 to 2 hours in-game daily by accomplishing all the daily resets like Dungeons and Events and do the same cycle every day until you reach the maximum potential of your character.

MU Origin Guide: Crystal Farming



Crystal is one of the most important currencies in the game. Farming this currency will not be as fast like farming Gold but the method of farming this currency is quite is easy-- if you have the time of course.



I could spend less than two hours of farming Crystals daily. Here is the best method or way to farm for these wonderful and shinny green crystals that will be essential to your character's growth.

The Recycle Button
Recycle items you don't need, it will soon consume all the spaces in your inventory, since you don't need them, recycle them into crystals. The higher the item grade, the higher the Crystals. But take note, don't recycle Purple items unless you don't need them.

Drama Dungeon
Do all the dungeons you can easily finish, one of the Crystal havens is doing this daily dungeon, check the checkbox where it says, "Automatically recycle the equipment raided into Crystal" button so you could automatically convert items into Crystals. Finish the dungeon in less than 3 minutes to take advantage of the Raid system, you don't have to enter the dungeon and just finish the dungeon automatically by raiding it and see your Crystals grow.

Crystal Mirage
Participate in the Crystal Mirage event! There's nothing as easy as just looting the green Crystals in the map and get a good amount of Crystals. Sounds easy right? But here's the catch, Crystal Mirage is a PVP zone, so you have to contest with other players for the large green crystals, or actually get killed in the process. Enter the event when you think there are only a few people online, get those giant green crystals and farm them all.

Ancient Battlefield
An Ancient Battlefield is an event where you could spend 30 minutes killing a mixed variety of monsters that gives you a high amount of drop rate and EXP. Each wave you kill will always drop common items that you can convert into crystals. Make sure you're not AFK (Away From Keyboard) when you play this event because the high number of item drops will eventually make your inventory full. So recycle as often as you like so you have enough space for the loots.

You can also farm crystals by doing the EXP daily dungeon, but it only gives you like 200 Crystals, better than nothing, plus, you get a high load of experience for your character to level up.

MU Origin Guide: Where to spend Crystals?

Some players asked where and when is the best time to spend the in-game crystals. Crystal is another type of in-game currency where you can purchase for a Talisman, exchange for an item, advance an item or use it to upgrade your character's skills.

With all so many benefits of this currency, players should be wise in where to spend these currency. Crystal is not easy to farm like Gold, you can earn it by recycling items, do dungeons and participate in events like Crystal Mirage.

Like other pro players out there in-game, there should be only two or three ways to spend your Crystals:

Grade 2 Talisman
Exchange Crystal with Talisman: Talisman is an item that will enhance your stats and gives you a high amount of Battle Points, its expensive but its worth buying for. The higher the grade, the greater the stats.

Skills Tab
Upgrade Skills: Take a note that I upgraded most of my skills to level 31, but this was my mistake, I spent too much Crystals by upgrading all skills. The tip here is, only upgrade the "Buff" skill, which in my part as a Magician, is the Guardian of Spirit skill, which reduces the damage my character takes. The damage skills, however, can just climb up with your item, wings, ranks and titles upgrade, so don't focus on them yet. Better use Crystals to upgrade only the last skill then spend the rest of them with Talisman.

The Furnace Tab: Advance Feature
Advance Items: One awesome feature in-game is the Advance Feature in the Furnace Tab. Here you can upgrade your current items into a more advanced one. It requires a wholesome amount of crystal but trust me, it will be worth it.

Be wise in spending your Crystals, they're not easy to farm, so you should only focus on these three aspects to help you advance further in the game. MU Origin is a game where your choice will greatly affect the growth of your character, so being wise in spending in-game currencies will help you enhance your character as early as possible.

MU Origin Guide: Wings, Ranks and Titles

In the game MU Origin, attributes are very important when it comes survival as well as PK (PVP). No matter how cool your items are if you have a very low attribute (such as Attack damage and Magic damage), you will be half useless against someone who has lesser items but with greater stats. That is why it is important to increase the grade of your wings and also your ranks and titles.

Wings, aside from adding coolness to your character, enhances your attributes greatly. It is important the sooner you have your wings on its Grade 1 level, you must immediately find ways to upgrade that one while you're still trying to level up. To upgrade wings, you will need Feathers (lots of them) for the starting phase of an upgrade then the Hawk's Spark (lots of them also) which will help it upgrade to a next grade.

Here are the ways to earn Feathers and Hawk's Sparks:

  • You get feathers by logging in daily through the "Continuous Login" and "Daily Online" freebies. Although you get it by chance, getting Feathers are actually higher, I can get around 3 to 5 Feathers during my daily login, which is on a 7-days maximum shuffle.

  • Dungeons: Clear as many dungeons as you can, bosses will give feathers if you defeat them. Take advantage of the "Raid" system where, if you finish the dungeon in less than 3 minutes, you will be granted instant finish of your dungeon without going in and killing all those monsters. Get all those quotas per day and enjoy your Feathers.

  • Demonic Tower: The haven for Feathers and Hawk's Sparks, clear as many stages as you can then use your daily Raid quota to take another batch of Feathers and Hawk's Sparks.

  • Bound Diamonds: You can purchase Feathers and Hawk's Sparks using Bound Diamonds, but I don't recommend using this method to buy Feathers since gathering it is too easy and you should spend your Diamonds on Hawk's Sparks instead since it is rare to gather than Feathers.
But wait a minute, before you spend all your Diamonds on Hawk's Spark, there are other things to consider: Achievement and Fame Seals.

Bound Diamonds Mall: Achievement Seal, Fame Seal, and Hawk's Spark prices indicated.


Achievement and Fame Seals are used to upgrade your Title and Military Rank, this entitlement also gives attributes which will be essential to your character. The easiest way to gather Achievement and Fame seals is through farming Bound Diamonds.

Earn these Seals by doing Recharge Rebates by spending cash in-game.
Other sources for Achievement and Fame Seals are Karima Temple (a team Dungeon), Recharge Rebates (for those who wants to spend cash in-game), and Main Quests.

Achievement Title
Achievement Tab, Fearless Title
The Achievement Title will be displayed on the on top of the name of your character, it brings pride to a player knowing he has reached a certain Title. As you can see, the next stage, The Punitive Title requires 175,000 Achievement Points. Farm Bound Diamonds by doing Suppress Daily Quests, joining Crystal Mirage and other server events.

You can also gain achievement points by doing in-game achievements. Better than nothing right?
Other sources of Achievement points are participating in events like King of PK and Camp Battle which gives off High amount of Achievement Points.

Military Rank

Military Rank Tab, the more rank, the greater attribute bonus.
The Military Rank, however, is quite different, aside from farming Fame Seals with Bound Diamonds, Fame can be earned by participating in PK events. It is MU Origin's PVP (Player Versus Player) game mode.

Earn Fame by challenging players, doesn't matter if you lose, you still get 2,500 Fame in Total after challenging 10 players.

Other ways to earn Fame Seals are Dungeons, worshiping the King of PK's avatar in Warrior's Land, participate in events like Angel's Shrine, 

Upgrading your wings, title and rank help increase your Battle Points which will be used for ranking system in-game. If you focus on upgrading these features, you will likely be successful in doing Daily Quests, the more upgrades, the easier to kill the monsters and the faster things are done. It will be easier to farm items in events like Devil Square because of very high attributes and more damage done to monsters in-game. More damage to monsters means the loots are all yours.
